We worked with Gippsland Water to explore ways in which maintenance inspection times can be reduced and greater insights can be gained into major asset condition via remote aerial image survey, thermal imaging and Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) analysis.
The ROS trial allowed us to identify ROS channel issues that required attention. Early detection resulted in significant maintenance cost savings. Gippsland Water is reviewing this, and other aerial survey applications that can integrate with our asset register to improve data quality and realise time/cost savings
